Another icon arrives at the Szeged Outdoor Games' New Szeged stage: In the summer of 2025 János Brody will give a concert under the foliage. Sixty years on stage are behind the Kossuth and Liszt Ferenc Prize-winning songwriter, who has been involved in the production of more than 60 albums in his career, and has produced the lyrics of about 800 songs and 200 songs. As a member of Elijah's and later of the Phonograph bands, his songs, written to the group of fellow artists and composers and performed in solo at the birth of Hungarian-language beat and rock music, determine the past decades of Hungarian light music. To this day, the lyrics of a country known and newer and more still bear the desire for freedom, the expression and insight of which, as one man, is a brody! With its excellent musicians, but even with a single thread of guitar, an artist with elemental power will present to the audience in the city of sunlight a bouquet of emblematic songs, both from legendary classics and newer compositions.
