Jazz, ragtime, dixie in all quantities, in the performance of the most significant Hungarian representatives of the genre! For one night, Szeged will be the country's jazz capital thanks to the Molnár Dixieland Band and its star guests! On 12 August, the Újszeged Outdoor Stage will be performed by almost everyone who counts in the style of rolling rhythms, smoky sounds and superb improvisations. Together and separately, the gala will be dazzled by the most patinatic ensemble of Hungarian traditional jazz life, the Péter Máté Award-winning Budapest Ragtime Band, the famous Hungarian film music, led by Tamás Bényei, awarded the Kossuth Prize, and the pride of Szeged, the more than sixty-year-old, eMeRTon Award-winning Molnár Dixieland Band. As a solo singer, Andrea Sulak completes the programme of a renowned Hungarian jazz-size event on the international stage. The music director of the concert is Gyula Juhász and Gyula Molnár, a prize winner of the eMeRTon Prize. Fascinating musical performances, exhilarating melodies, virtuoso music and exploding atmosphere are guaranteed!
